Dear Distinguished Guests, Esteemed

Colleagues, and Friends,

    On behalf of the organizing committee, it is my great pleasure to extend a warm welcome to all of you to the Healthcare & Nursing Conference 2025, held at Hungkuang University in Taichung, Taiwan. We are truly honored to host this important event, which brings together the brightest minds in healthcare and nursing from around the world.

   The theme of the conference, “Shaping the Future of Healthcare: Nursing Trends and Innovation,” could not be more timely or relevant. As we stand at the intersection of rapid technological advancements and evolving healthcare needs, the role of nursing is more critical than ever. This conference aims to provide a platform for thought-provoking discussions, innovative ideas, and collaborative efforts that will shape the future of healthcare and nursing practices for years to come.

     I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our co-organizers: the College of Health Care at China Medical University, the College of Nursing at Central Taiwan University of Science and Technology, the National Union of Nurses Associations, Sin-Sim Nursing, and the Taiwan Nurses Association. A special thanks also to Kuang Tien General Hospital for their support. Their collaboration and dedication have been instrumental in making this conference a reality.

     Together, let us explore new pathways, embrace innovation, and work towards a brighter, healthier future for all. I look forward to the fruitful discussions and the new ideas that will emerge from this conference.

2025 Call for Abstracts 

    This conference welcomes the submission of abstracts for oral or poster presentation.

  Important Dates

  28 Febulary 2025 (23:59 GMT +8)

    — Abstract Submission Deadline

  31 May 2025 (23:59 GMT +8) 

    — Abstract Acceptance Notification

  01 July 2025 (23:59 GMT +8)

    — Registration Deadline for Abstract Presenters

  8 – 9 August 2025 — Main Conference

Guidelines

  Abstracts must adhere to the guidelines and terms above to be accepted. The Scientific Committee of the Hungkuang University Conference will make the final decision and reviewing results will be informed by emailing a notice of acceptance.


Abstract Submission Themes / Categories

    We welcome submissions of abstracts related to the following topics, and also encourage submissions of abstracts related to the nursing   and related professions.

  • Health promotion and disease prevention
  • Patient-centered care
  • Advanced nursing practice
  • Long-term care
  • End of life care
  • Nursing education
  • Leadership and nursing administration
  • Health care systems and policy
  • Artificial Intelligence and technology
  • Evidence-Based Practice and Research
  • Others

Abstract Submission Guidelines

  • Abstracts must be submitted via GOOGLE FORMS only.

  • The abstract title should be no more than 20 words.
  • The abstract text should be no more than 300 words and should be structured with:
  • Background
  • Purpose / Objectives
  • Approaches / Methods
  • Results / Findings
  • Discussion / Implications
  • Keywords: three to five keywords.
  • Each presenting author can submit up to 2 papers. There is no limit of submission as co-authors.
  • Each abstract can only have one presenting author, who may or may not be the first author.
  • Select one theme / category that matches the abstract most from the list provided.
  • Tables, graphs, images and citation should not be included.
  • Ethical considerations should be declared during the submission.
  • Please use the Abstract_Template file as the attached and note that revision would NOT be allowed after submission.
  • Presenting authors of the accepted abstracts are required to complete their registration before 01 July 2025 (23:59 GMT +8). Those who failed to register by the designated date will not be included in the program.

Certificate of presentation will be provided to the presenting author of the accepted abstract.

Abstract Presentation

  •     Oral Presentation

   For abstracts accepted for an oral presentation, the designated presenting author will be required to deliver a 10-minute presentation in person. Further details will be sent to the presenting author by 31 May 2025. By accepting the invitation for oral presentation, the presenting author grants the conference organizers permission to share the presentation slides for educational use.

  •     Poster Presentation

       If your abstract is accepted for a Poster presentation, the presenting author may be asked to be present during the poster session to engage in discussions. Instructions for poster creation will be provided by 31 May 2025.

      The conference will include the selection of the Best Oral Presenter and the Best Poster Presenter, as determined by the committee. Certificates will be awarded to the winners during the closing ceremony.

Conflict of Interest or Ethics Issue

The Conference on Shaping the Future of Healthcare: Nursing Trends and Innovation is dedicated to providing high-quality educational sessions that are free from commercial bias or undue influence. To maintain this standard, the submitting author must disclose any potential conflicts of interest or ethics concerns for all listed authors during the abstract submission process.

     

Other Terms and Conditions  

  • The same abstract cannot be submitted for consideration in different abstract categories.
  • Abstracts that have previously been published or presented will not be accepted.
  • The on-line submission also indicates the copyright agreement to publish the abstracts for all purposes of the Conference usage without further notice.
  • Authors are strongly advised to ensure the accuracy of the submitted abstracts. Any mistakes in literature or in scientific facts will be published as what is typed.
  • All authors named in this abstract have agreed to its submission for presentation at Hungkuang University conference meeting, and that the authors are responsible for the data and agree with the stated results.
  • All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee of the Hungkuang University Conference and reviewing results will be informed by emailing a notice of acceptance.
